Peak flow
The peak flow is the flow rate at which the product’s outlet water hardness value is reduced to values
less than 10% of the inflow water hardness for at least 10 minutes. The pressure difference may rise to
greater than 1 bar.
Operating flow
The operating flow is the flow rate on which independent testing institutions based their capacity testing
(see DIN EN 14743 for details).
Nominal flow
The nominal flow rate is the volume flow at which the product causes a pressure drop of 1 bar at a water
temperature of 15 °C when the blending is closed.
