To ensure your safety, before doing any work on the blower, removing for-
eign matter, unjamming, adjusting or cleaning off, disengage the PTO, stop
the tractor engine and remove the key AND unplug the battery wire from the
chute control handle! This ensures that the hydraulics or the electrics will not
become activated and cause an injury or death
When replacing the shear bolts STOP the engine and remove the key before
attempting to replace them!
Please note that there is added weight to both ends of the tractor. The power pack filled with oil
weighs approx 700 lb. and the blower at 950 lb. for a total of approx 1650 lb.
Ensure you have proper tire pressure!
The tractor will handle differentially with the added weight
of the blower and power pack..
Slow down and do not drive with the blower raised too high as this would cause the tractor to be-
come unstable and top-heavy and easier to roll over!
.
Operating the Bush Hog Loader Snowblower
Stay in the seat of the tractor all the time that the blower is running.
Make sure the area is clear of people while blowing snow.
Before operating this equipment, inspect all electrical connections and hydraulic couplings for proper
connection.
Raise the Power Pack far enough to have adequate
ground clearance of the front stand. Place the back
stand in transport position to keep it from getting
damaged.
The loader blower is not equipped with a on/off valve
in the system. Power is controlled by the PTO.
There is a relief valve to protect the hydraulics and
blower fan and auger in case of a jam.
The auger is protected with a safety shear bolt that
will shear off if the auger becomes jammed.
The fan is also protected with a shear bolt in the PTO
shaft universal joint if the fan becomes jammed.
