Attach the Blower
•
Place the blower and power unit on a firm, level surface that is large enough to safely accommo
-
date the blower, power pack the power unit and all workers involved in the mounting process.
• Enter the power unit, fasten safety restraints.
• Start the engine.
• Disengage the parking brake
• Align the attachment mechanism with the mounting on the blower, attach to power unit. Refer to
the operator’s manual(s) for your power unit, loader and quick-attach and follow the mounting
instructions contained therein.
• Engage parking brake and shut down power unit.
• Unfasten safety restraints and exit power unit.
• Ensure hydraulic quick couplers are clean. Connect hydraulic lines for the blower to power pack.
• While the loader arms are lowered, visually inspect the blower to ensure it is securely mounted.
• Enter power unit, fasten safety restraints and start the power unit.
• Carefully raise the loader arms and cycle the tilt cylinders to check clearances and to verify that all
mounting procedures have been successfully completed.
• Next steps are to attach the power pack to the 3PH on your power unit.
Perform the steps for sizing the PTO shaft before attaching the power pack to the power unit
