Note, a 20 second delay should be incorporated before switch signal is acted upon to al-
low the system to stabilize / establish a flow rate.
If the application involves the pump-down of a large volume, service liquid flow into the
liquid ring pump can be lower for a period longer than 20 seconds from start up. In this
case, the flow switch activation time delay can be increased as long as the pump outlet
temperature and low liquid level switches are active and the suction pressure is steadily
decreasing (i.e. higher vacuum). When normal operating pressure is reached the signal
from flow switch should then be activated.
