Addressing

Correct addressing of all ABB-Welcome

®

components is the prerequisite for faultless operation of the entire

system.
The indoor stations of the apartments can be assigned to the doorbell push-buttons of a door station by setting
the address of the device.
When the doorbell push-button is pressed the call is received at the fixed address. The option of flexible
addressing allows the ABB-Welcome

®

system to be adapted to the individual requirements of the user.

8.1

Use of several outdoor stations

8.1.1

Uniform assignment of the doorbell push-buttons

With several outdoor stations within an ABB-Welcome

®

system the doorbell push-buttons of each outdoor station

are generally assigned uniformly.
This means that all apartments can be called from all outdoor stations. This is practical for buildings with several
entrances from each of which all apartments are accessible.
