OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The BURNDY
®
MRE10-22B and MRE10-22NV crimping tools incorporate a full-cycle ratchet mechanism
that once started, does not allow the handles to be opened until the crimp cycle is completed. This
provides a complete, positive crimp every time. If needed, the user can activate the emergency release
lever (See Figure 3).
Additionally, the BURNDY
®
MRE10-22B and MRE10-22NV feature a linkage which provides a low-handle
force, high-output crimp. These tools also feature comfort grip handles to further reduce user fatigue.
Keep all body parts away from moving
parts during tool operation.
Tools are NOT insulated. DO NOT
use on or near energized wires.
Read, understand and follow these instructions and ALL safety warnings and labels before operating
this tool.
