It does not matter whether you want to access the recorder via the web browser or via the 
ConfigTool: In both cases, the login window appears.  

 

 
 
You can choose between "LAN" and "WAN" connection type. 
 

 

When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to enter a user name and 
password. Please make sure that you use a secure password. The probable security is 
shown in the bar chart. Passwords that are considered insecure cannot be used.
