6.5.9.9 Pressure point on a MAGURA brake lever
Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment
The pressure point setting is adjusted using the
twist knob.
Turn the twist knob towards the plus (+)
symbol.
The brake lever moves closer to the handlebar
grip. Re-adjust the grip distance as necessary.
The lever pressure point activates sooner.
Turn the twist knob towards the minus (–).
The
brake lever
move further away from the
handlebar grip. Re-adjust the grip distance as
necessary.
The lever pressure point activates later.

Brake failure due to incorrect setting
If the pressure point is set with brakes where the
brake linings and brake disc have reached their
wear limit, the brakes may fail and cause an
accident with injury.
Before you adjust the pressure point, ensure
that the brake linings and brake disc have not
reached their wear limit.
