Complete the following steps if the Bullhorn unit includes a NEMA-rated enclosure:
a.
Route the battery charger cable through the water-tight fitting on the bottom of the
enclosure and then toward the
Solar
or
Charger
terminal block located on the
controller board.
b.
Complete the following steps if you are working with a unit that uses the ORBCOMM
or SkyWave-Inmarsat satellite network for communications:
(1)
Use a wire stripper to remove 3-
½
inch of the outer jacket on the battery charger
cable to expose the red and black wires (or white and black wires).
(2)
Open the ferrite filter provided in the installation kit and place the red and black
wires (or white and black) inside the housing.
