Maintenance (Notifi cation)
If your TeraStation is remotely managed, you
may choose to receive nightly status reports and
be notifi ed of any disk events by email. To set
this up, enable
Mail Notifi cation
and enter the
IP address of your SMTP server* in the
SMTP
Server Address
fi eld. Select a
Subject
line for
Subject

the emails (i.e. “TeraStation report”) and enter the
email address of each person you want to receive
notifi cation emails into a
Recipient Mail Addres

* SMTP server must be of
open
type. There’s no provision for entering a username or password.
