11 ASHES
When burning dry wood and with correct steering of the combustion air, only light and fine ashes remain as a
residue.
The ash pan must be emptied regularly.
Ashes in the fire chamber should not rise over the bottom grate frame.
The ashes can easily be pushed into the ash pan beneath. Pull the slide valve and push the ashes
downward. The ash pan can be taken out with open fire door.
Empty the ash pan only when the ashes are cold and keep them during at least 24 h in a fire
resistant container. Fire risk! In case of fire, call the fire-brigade!
