10 Operation
The SamplePro hr-MAS sample changer can be operated using three different modes:

Note: The application must run in all different modes!
1. Using TopSpin , whereas two commands are available:
• sx ej : Used to eject a rotor from the probe.
• sx [position] : Used to eject a rotor from the probe and to insert the rotor from
the position indicated in brackets to the probe.
2. Using IconNMR to control of the automation. Select the automation mode B-ACS in
IconNMR and press the GO button.
For further information please refer to the IconNMR user manual.
3. Using the application control software SamplePro hr-MAS . This chapter will
describe the application control software in detail.
The next section describes the user interfaces for the SamplePro hr-MAS, if you are
already familiar with this program you may proceed to the
"Basic Commands" on page
53 .

10.1 SamplePro hr-MAS Main Display
The menu-driven application control software SamplePro hr-MAS consists of a left and
right panel providing important information over the system.
The left panel of the main screen graphically displays or lists diverse information over
three tabs:
• The "System View"
• The "Holder View"
• The "Sample Holder List"
The right panel of the main screen also offers important information over the current sta-
tus of the system, see the
"Right Window Panel" for details.
