Connecting the Power Supply

3.2

Connect the power supply unit to the barcode reader plug (5 mm stereo connec-
tor) and the power supply unit to a free mains outlet.

Connecting the Serial Cable

3.3

To send the reader information to the control unit, connect one end of the 10
meter serial cable to the barcode reader plug and the other end to a free serial
port (e.g. TTY09) on the CCU of the spectrometer.
