Storage of the balancing procedure
In the VIBROTEST 60 there are two memories on the PC-card;
the Flash memory and the Report memory.
Flash memory
The Flash memory is an internal memory that secures the data
against loss. All information about the current balancing proce-
dure (balancing setup, number of measured values, test
weights, measuring runs) are stored here.
Measured values for a measuring run are stored in the Flash
memory from the moment the user accepts a measurement
with the softkey »OK« (resp. »YES«/ »NO« during a test run).
The information remains in the Flash memory when the
balancing procedure is closed with »EXIT« and when the
VIBROTEST 60 is switched off (button »ON«).
Thus a balancing procedure can be interrupted at any time to
use another function of the instrument or to switch the
instrument off without losing data.
The information in the Flash memory from the balancing
procedure is deleted only in the case where one of the following
three actions are performed by the user.
•
Deletion of the balancing procedure with the softkey
»RESET«. This is possible at any point in the balancing
procedure at the main balancing menu.
•
Acceptance of the results of a Check run of the current
balancing procedure as the Initial run measurements for a
new balancing procedure using the softkey »CR=IR«.
•
Loading of a balancing procedure stored on the PC-card
using the softkey »REPORT«. In this case the information
from the current balancing procedure in the Flash memory
is overwritten by the information from the PC-card.
Report memory PC-card
The PC-card is the storage medium for storing a balancing
procedure.
The data from the current balancing procedure is stored.
