ON RIDER FORWARD VEHICLE:
In the bu m ps, on a rider forward vehicle, the front ar m and center shock do m ore of the work, since
the rider and m ost of the vehicle ’ s m ass is concentrated over the center ar m . Conversely, on accel-
eration weight transfer is m ore difficult since the rider and vehicle ’ s m ass are m oved farther forward
co m paired to conventional vehicle.
T he m otion ratio curve above depicts the m ajor differences between the SC III & SC IV rear suspen-
sions. If we take a close look at the center shock ’ s m otion ratio, you will see the SC III ’ s front ar m is
a 15% falling rate design, the SC IV ’ s is a 7 8 % rising design.
