Brother HL P2500
The HL-P2500 prints at an exceptional up to 12 pages per minute
and offers crisp, clear printouts at up to 600x600dpi. Copying and
scanning are provided for only a small extra cost. As well as a cost
saving you can also save space on your desktop. It eliminates both
the need for a separate scanner and copier and removes
compatibility worries. The HL-P2500 is extremely easy to operate.
Its user-friendly control panel is supported by straightforward
software. Also included is an "On-screen Interactive Help" facility.
This model is also economical to run, especially when compared
with inkjet printer based multifunction products. All in all, with its
affordable price and versatility, the HL-P2500 will prove a real asset
to any size office. The well-designed control panel is simple to
operate. All of the copy functions can be used without the need for a
PC, such as Number of copies, Enlargement/Reduction, Density,
Page size, Document type, Layout.When you need to send
information, which has been provided as a hard copy, the HL-P2500
offers a smarter and less expensive way with better quality than fax.
The Scan to e-mail function allows you to e-mail a document as an
attached image file by simply inserting it into the paper feeder and
then pressing the "Scan to e-mail" button on the control panel. The
scanned document will then be automatically attached to your e-mail
ready for you to address and send. Alternatively, you can simply
scan the document into the file management system ready to
process when it is convenient to do so. The ADF holds up to 30
pages, allowing you to scan and copy while the HL-P2500 is
unattended, which is not normally possible with a standard flatbed
design scanner. This feature is particularly useful for offices that
need to scan and copy multiple documents. In addition to easy
connection with PCs and Macs, the HL-P2500 can be shared
between two PCs by utilizing both the parallel and USB ports which
come as standard. An optional network server NC-2010p is available
to allow connection over a network. A standard input of 250 sheets
for the printer and copier can be increased to 500 with the addition
of a second paper tray (LT-400). Manual feed allows you to print or
copy a wide variety of media/ paper types.
