What is Web Based Management?

Web Based Management is a utility that uses a standard web browser to manage your machine using the Hyper
Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer (HTTPS).

•

We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 11/Microsoft Edge for Windows, Safari 10/11 for Mac,
Chrome for Android (4.x or later), and Chrome/Safari for iOS (10.x or later). Make sure that JavaScript
and Cookies are always enabled in whichever browser you use.

•

(DCP-T420W/DCP-T425W) You must use the TCP/IP protocol on your network and have a valid IP
address programmed into the print server and your computer.

•
