Printout of scanning compensation data (Function code 05)
<Function>
The machine prints out the white and black level data for scanning compensation.
<Operating Procedure>
(1) For white and black scanning, copy the document. For color scanning, implement color
copy of the document.
(2) Press the
0
and
5
buttons in this order in the initial state of the maintenance mode. In the
case of the model without the numeric keys; Press the
or
button. The
“MAINTENANCE 05” appears on the LCD. Then press the
OK
button. The “PRINTING”
will appear on the LCD, and the equipment prints out the scanning compensation data
list (Refer to
) containing the following:

Black and white/color scanning
Note:
• Be sure to execute this operating procedure not immediately after the power is turned
ON, but after conducting the document scanning operation at least once in scanning.
Since the machine initializes the white and black level data and obtains the standard
value for document scanning compensation when starting scanning the document, the
correct data for compensation cannot be printed out even if this operation is
implemented without scanning the document.
• The print result varies depending on whether implementing color scanning or black and
white scanning immediately before this operating procedure. Make sure the white and
black level data you want to print and implement the operation below.

• In the case of the black and white scanning, the output data (B) and (R) are invalid.
