1. If not already Installed, slide gasket (AB) and carburetor
spacer (AA) onto studs.
NOTE: Make sure gasket is properly orientated on
carburetor. An improperly orientated gasket will cause poor
engine performance. Refer to illustration at the beginning
of the carburetor section.
2. Slide new gasket (V) and carburetor (U) onto studs only
far enough so linkage (F) can be installed onto throttle
lever (G). Once linkage is installed, slide the carburetor
completely onto studs until it is against the engine. Slide
new gasket (Y) onto studs.
NOTE: Make sure gasket is properly orientated on
carburetor. An improperly orientated gasket will cause poor
engine performance. Refer to illustration at the beginning
of the carburetor section.
3. Install spring (E) onto throttle lever (G).
4. Install fuel line (B) with clamp onto carburetor fitting.
Make sure clamp retains fuel line securely.
5. Install control bracket (Z) and control panel trim (D) as
instructed in
Install Control Bracket found in Section 5.
6. Install air cleaner assembly (C) as instructed in Change
Air Filter found in Section 2.
7. Connect spark plug wire to spark plug (A).
