Risk of damage to the pick-up roller due to crop
accumulation!
If parts of the crop are not completely dry, the crop
may become tangled and accumulate, particularly in
the outer segment of the pick-up roller.
4 In order to avoid consequential damage, remove
crop that is tangled in the pick-up roller immediately
using the special tool.
5.6 Cleaning the pick-up roller
Necessity
Depending on the conditions, the crop may become tangled and
accumulate, particularly in the outer segment of the pick-up
roller.
Personal protective
equipment
Wear the following personal protective equipment when
cleaning the pick-up roller:
– Protective gloves
– Safety footwear
Prerequisites
Before cleaning the pick-up roller ensure that:
– the machine is secured to prevent it from rolling away.
– the machine is switched off.
Cleaning the pick-up

Clean the pick-up roller as follows:
a) Remove the special tool (1) from the frame.
b) Use the special tool to remove crop that is tangled between
the plastic tines (2).
