Removing the side
parts
To remove the side parts:

a) Loosen and remove two screws (1) of the upper bracket (2).
b) Remove the bracket.
c) Lift the side part up and out of the lower bracket.
4.6 Setting the side parts to the transport/
deflection position
Function
The side parts can be set to the transport position or the
deflection position. In the transport position, the side parts are
swivelled forward, and in the deflection position, they are
swivelled towards the rear.
Setting the side parts to
the transport position
To set the side parts to the transport position, proceed as follows:
a) Switch off the device drive, stop the travel drive and secure
the machine.
b) Lift up the right-hand side part and swivel it forwards until it
snaps in.
c) Lift up the left-hand side part and swivel it forwards until it
snaps in.
ð The crop is secured on the sliding table.
Setting side parts to the
deflection position
To set the side parts to the deflection position, proceed as
follows:
a) Switch off the device drive, stop the travel drive and secure
the machine.
b) Lift up the right-hand side part and swivel it backwards until
it snaps in.
