Disconnecting the Gooseneck from the Deck
1.
Dump the suspension air from the tractor, jeep, trailer and booster.
2.
Disconnect the air lines and electrical plug
between the tractor/jeep and the deck.
3.
Decouple the fifth wheel and pull the tractor
forwards
4.
Remove link retainers, rotate links to storage
hooks. See Fig 3-19.
5.
Back tractor under the gooseneck and
recouple the fifth wheel.
6.
Disengage anti-dive pin. See Fig 3-22
7.
Place temporary blocking between gooseneck and tractor or jeep frame. See Fig 3-20
8.
Return to the tractor, air up the suspension and pull forward.
