Retract the main deck cylinders to lower the trailer deck to the ground. Continue lowering until
the gooseneck connection base lifts 1 1/2” above the deck beam. The drive lug must be above
the trough pin. See Fig. 3-16.
7.
Lower the gooseneck support arm until the gooseneck connection base lifts off the deck pins by
approximately 1/4”. See Fig. 3-17.
8.
Return to the tractor and slowly drive ahead, disconnecting the gooseneck from the trailer.
