VECTORVISION SKY NAVIGATION STATION
Required Distances
Keep camera, monitor and camera and monitor arms outside of the 50 Gauss fringe
field at all times.
Keep camera, monitor and camera and monitor arms outside of the 5 Gauss fringe
field during MR image acquisition.
If the system is used in combination with a sliding MR System, all moveable parts
must be outside the actual 50 gauss line at any time.
Stationary MR
System
If
VectorVision sky
is used in combination with a stationary MR System, the optimum position with
respect to the MR scanner and OR table has been planned and implemented as follows: If the ex-
tension arms and spring-loaded arms are fully extended and leveled horizontally towards the mag-
net, no terminal device penetrates the 50 Gauss fringe field zone.
Stability of Arms
Do not stress the ceiling mount by attaching additional devices or any additional
weight to the arms and the ceiling mount in general. Do not hang or swing on the arms.
RF-Shielded iMRI
Environment
The device components are mounted in an MR safe way within the complete system.
The device is MR conditional, and the components themselves are MR unsafe.
Switch off
VectorVision sky
prior to MR imaging and prevent it from being switched on
again during MR imaging.
