3.5 Tested Cables
Use of Specified Cables
Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified or provided by the
manufacturer of this equipment could result in increased electromagnetic emissions or
decreased electromagnetic immunity of this equipment and result in improper operation.

Port Example Handling
DVI In/Out
Direct input and output via DVI. Copper cables and DVI
EO converter may be used for signal in and out.
Always fix the screws to lock the cable connector.
NOTE: Use high quality DVI copper cable (max. 5 m)
to connect DVI Sources or a DVI Display.
SDI In Connect digital video inputs from an SDI, HD-SDI or
3G-SDI source (max. 10 m) or analog video inputs
from a composite (CVBS) source (max. 5 m) with BNC
connector to connect to video sources.
Push the male connector over the female connector, so
that the two small knobs on the female connector lock
into spiral slots in the male connector. Twist the bayo-
net shell clockwise to lock the connector.
To remove the cable, twist the bayonet shell on the
male connector counter-clockwise, then pull plug out.
Composite In
S-Video In
Connect S-video source with a coaxial cable (max. 10
m) with Mini-Din 4 Hosiden plug to connect to a video
source.
Correctly align the plastic coding knob before plugging
in the cable. This connector cannot be locked.
Only use 4 Pin Mini-Din Hosiden connectors. Similar
connectors may appear to fit, but could lead to equip-
ment damage.
