General Precautions
• Read the instructions carefully before starting installation
and proceed as specified by the manufacturer;
• Installation, programming, commissioning and mainte-
nance of the product must only be performed by qualified
technicians who have been properly trained in compliance
with current standards, including health and safety regu-
lations;
• The electronic cards can be seriously damaged by dischar-
ges of static electricity: if they are to be handled, wear
suitable clothing and anti-static footwear, or at least,
ensure static electricity has been discharged by touching
with the fingertip a metallic surface connected to the earth
system (e.g. the chassis of a household appliance);
• Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation,
disconnect the power supply to the device;
• The equipment must only be used for the purpose for
which it was explicitly designed.
• The manufacturer declines all liability for any damage as
a result of improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
Installation
B
The power supply unit must ALWAYS be installed hori-
zontally. The equipment can be installed on DIN rails (EN
50022)
a
, on a suitable switchboard, or on the wall using
the terminal covers
.
To dismantle it, proceed as shown in figure
c
.
NOTE. Proper ventilation is required if the power sup-
plier is installed in a metal container.

Programming
Of an intercom group
H
y
Programming the intercom group must be done
after assigning the type of call key or call code to all
the internal receivers.
Press the power supply’s PROG key for at least 25 seconds,
until the PROG LED flashes quickly
a
and then put the
RFID jumper in position
“+”
.
To enable the intercom function, swipe on the internal
receiver that you want to programme, and press the call
button you want to call from: a beep will sound to show
that programming has taken place
c
.
Continue by repeating the same operations for all the other
internal receivers to be included in the intercom group.
To leave programming, briefly press the power supply’s
PROG key
and put the RFID PROG jumper in the default
position
.
NOTE. If no action is performed, the procedure will auto-
matically end after 30 minutes.
Once an internal receiver has been included in an intercom
group by assigning the call key, it can no longer be excluded
from that group.
To change the call key of an internal receiver that has
already been programmed to have the intercom facility,
and therefore add new internal receivers to the group, just
repeat the sequence of operations described above.
Deactivating the intercom facility
I
Press the power supply’s PROG key for at least 25 seconds,
until the PROG LED flashes
a
and then put the RFID PROG
jumper in position
“+”
for at least 20 seconds. At the
end of that time, put the RFID PROG jumper in the default
position, to leave programming
c
.
Connection examples
F
L
One group of intercommunicating internal receivers can be
programmed with the VA/01 power supply, following the
procedure just described. If you need to configure more
than one intercom group VSE/301 devices must be used.
You cannot configure one intercom group with VA/01 and
others with VSE/301 at the same time

DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with packing material: make
sure it is disposed of according to the regulations in force
in the country where the product is used.
When the equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, take
measures to ensure it is not discarded in the environment.
The equipment must be disposed of in compliance with
the regulations in force, recycling its component parts
wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable waste feature the
relevant symbol and the material’s abbreviation.
