SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The exhaust system of the ROTAX 912 i Series 
engine is optional. If it was not ordered when the 
engine was purchased, only the 4 exhaust sock-
ets on the cylinder head are supplied.
The exhaust system must be designed and 
manufactured by the aircraft or aircraft frame 
manufacturer.

REMOVAL, INSPECTION, ASSEMBLY

Follow the aircraft manufacturer's instructions for 
removal, inspection and assembly.

CONNECTIONS FOR DISPLAY SYSTEMS

EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

The engine is equipped with 4 EGT temperature 
sensors for regulating the optimal fuel/air mix-
ture. These can be installed in various ways 
depending on the exhaust system.
