STEP ACTION
4. Select the
MILKBOX
option from the drop-down list box (1).
5. Specify the entrance gate (2) of the milking box.
6. Specify the exit gate (3) of the milking box.
This gate will be used to send cows back to the stable, although this
cows will not be selected.
The other gate will be used for selection cows.
7. Specify the selection criteria (4) for the selection gate as follows:
 Switch on option
SELECTION OFF
, if you don’t use the milking box as
a selection unit,
or
 Switch on one or more of the remaining selection criteria.
Refer to section 11.2 for a description of the selection criteria.
8. Specify the maximum period of time (5) that the gate between
selection room and milking box will be opened for milking cows in the
selection room.
NOTE : This time starts after the
MILK SELECTION ROOM
button has been
pressed in the
BOX ID
window of the concerning milking box. The time
stops automatically after the time you set in this window. It stops
earlier if the
MILK SELECTION ROOM
button has been pressed again
before the time has elapsed.
9. Click the
SAVE
button (6) to save your settings.
