
Maintenance
WARNING
Failure to properly maintain the machine could result in premature failure of machine systems
causing possible harm to you or bystanders.
Keep the machine well maintained and in good working order as indicated in these instructions.
CAUTION
If you leave the key in the switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the switch before you perform any maintenance.
Note:
Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.

After the first 2 hours
• Tighten all hardware.
Before each use or daily
• Check the hydraulic cylinders.
• Check the hydraulic lines and hoses.
• Check all hardware.
Before storage
• Grease the hydraulic cylinder rods.
• Lightly sand and use touch-up paint on painted areas that are scratched, chipped,
or rusted.

Check the hydraulic cylinders daily for leaks, rust,
or pitting on the rods. Make all necessary repairs
before operating.
•
Check the hydraulic lines and hoses daily for leaks,
kinked lines, loose fittings, and deterioration. Make
all necessary repairs before operating.
•
Check the cutting edge daily for wear.
•
Check all hardware daily to ensure that they are
secure. Torque them to the appropriate value if
they are loose.
