To use the weighing terminal as multi-range or multi-interval scale, the appro-
priate settings must be made in the password protected menu.
For multi-range scales each area is treated as a single range.
When unloading the scale, the last reached division step is retained until the
zero point is reached.
A multi-interval scale has a measuring range, which is sub-divided into several
sections with different division steps. The measuring range is automatically
determined at decreasing and increasing load by the load.
A multi-interval scale features due to their division measuring ranges higher
flexibility in comparison with multi-range scales. Switching to a lower division
range by Tare or by using a predetermined preload value is possible.
The diagram below illustrates the principle of multi-range and multi-interval
scales.
Attention
Changes in the password-protected menu of a calibrated scale lead to the
expiry of the verification.
Note
For calibration and adjustment of the individual parameters of the different
ranges see Technical Manual.
Attention
Switching between the division steps during the load of the scale is permitted
only with increasing weight value.
Attention
Inadmissible is also changing in a lower range after tare.
Note
The information is identical to those of simple weighing (see chap.4.9.1).
