Cancel the programme

For programmes at high temperature:

To end the programme, set the 

programme selector to "Drain/Empty" 

or select a spin speed. Then select the 

Start

/Pause button.

 indicator light lights up and 

the indicator light for the Start/Pause 

button flashes.
If the indicator light

 also flashes, the 

washing machine has detected too 

much foam during the wash programme 

and automatically switches on a rinse 

cycle to remove the foam.

Note:  

Add less detergent to the next 

washing cycle with the same load.

Removing laundry/switching 

off the appliance

1.

Open the washing machine door 

and remove the laundry.

2.

Turn the programme selector to 

Off

Appliance is switched off.

3.

Turn off the water tap.

Note:  

Not required for Aqua-Stop 

models. 

Notes

Do not leave any items of laundry in 

the drum. They may shrink in the 

next wash or discolour another item.

Remove any foreign objects from the 

drum and the rubber seal – risk of 

rusting.

Leave the washing machine door 

and detergent drawer open so that 

any residual water can dry away.

Automatic load sensing

The automatic load sensing function 

adapts the water consumption ideally to 

each programme depending on the 

type of fabric and the load.

Unbalanced load detection 

system

The automatic unbalanced load 

detection system detects imbalances 

and ensures even distribution of the 

laundry by repeatedly starting and 

stopping drum spinning.
If the laundry is extremely unevenly 

distributed, the speed is reduced or the 

spin cycle is not performed for safety 

reasons.
