3.8.3 Fitting the front roll-off guard
!
The front roll-off guard must only be fitted at the
front end of the left runway (runway at operating
unit).
1. Position the roll-off guard (2) at the front end of the
left runway.

2. Slide the support rod through all 5 guides to secure
the set-up.
3. Secure the support rod on both sides with
a retaining ring (3). See Fig. 17.
3.9 Anchoring the lifting platform
3.9.1 Drilling the mounting holes
1. Make sure that the base plates of the lifting platform
are correctly positioned on the foundations.
2. Move the runway up and set down in the top latch.
3. Drill mounting holes into the foundations. Remove
drilling dust from the holes.

4. Insert shear connectors into the mounting holes.
Do not tighten the mounting bolts of the shear
connectors yet!

Note the assembly instructions from the dowel
manufacturer!
Use sufficiently large washers!
3.9.2 Leveling the runways
1. Raise the runway when loaded (with medium-sized
vehicle) and set down in the preferred latch position
for wheel alignment.
2. Make sure that the fastening nuts of the shear
connectors are released.
3. Set the base plates using the alignment screws so
that the runways are balanced longitudinally and
transversely.

It may be necessary to position suitable supports
underneath the alignment screws.

A leveling device is required for precise checking
of the alignment.
4. Tighten the fastening nuts of the shear connectors
with the specified torque.
