3.5 Controls
The lifting platform should preferably also be operated
using the front panel controls during the initial
installation. If this is not possible, the buttons in the
operating unit can be used.

The buttons in the operating unit bypass the control
functions of the control system: the light barrier and
electronic cut-out points are ignored. Improper use
of these buttons may cause damage to the lifting
platform!

Button Function
S1 ( o ) "Lift" emergency button.
The selected lifting device moves upward while
the button is pressed.
S3 "Light barrier bypass" emergency button.
The light barrier is bypassed while the button is
pressed. In this case, the "Lift" and "Lower" buttons
on the front panel are no longer monitored by the
light barrier.
S9 ( u ) "Lower 1" emergency button.
Opens bypass valve Y1. The left side of the selected
lifting device moves downward while the button is
pressed.
S10 ( u ) "Lower 2" emergency button.
Opens bypass valve Y2. The right side of the
selected lifting device moves downward while the
button is pressed.
3.6 Bringing the lifting platform into
operation
3.6.1 Raising and lowering the runway
1. Turn the master switch to ON (1).
 The lifting platform is now switched on.
2. For lifting platforms with wheel-free scissor lift: Set
the mode selector switch to position 1 (Runway).
3. Press and hold the "Lift" ( o ) button.
 The runway must be raised after a short delay.

If the platform does not lift: Check the direction of
rotation of the motor in the hydraulic unit. It can be
reversed by swapping two phases.
3.6.2 Bleeding the runway hydraulic system
1. Raise and lower the runway several times with
the "Lift" (
o ) and "Lower" ( u ) buttons. Use the
emergency button in the operating unit, if necessary.

The hydraulic cylinder is bled automatically by
operating it several times. The hydraulic fluid may
have to be topped up in the process.
2. Check the fluid level. The fluid level must be above
the red line in the level indicator.
