Set-upandinitialcommissioning
The lifting platform is only to be started up by Bosch
customer service or an authorized service agent. Initial
commissioning of the lifting platform is described in the
installation instructions. Acceptance must be performed
by a qualified person after initial commissioning.

The lifting platform is not to be erected outdoors.
At least weather-proof roofing is required.

Spacerequirements
Refer to Fig 10 for lifting platform dimensions.
There must also be a clearance of at least 1 meter be-
tween the lifting platform and fixed elements (e.g. wall)
in all lifting positions.
There must be sufficient space at the ends of the lifting
platform for driving vehicles on and off.

Foundationandconnections
The user must have the following work performed be-
fore erecting the platform:

Construction of the foundation following consulta-
tion with Bosch customer service or an authorized
service agent.

Routing of the wiring to the installation location. The
user must provide fuse protection for the connec-
tion.

Outline
VLH 2235H is a 2-post lifting platform with electro-hy-
draulic drive. Fig. 5 shows the principal components.

The lifting platform consists of two posts(Control post
(10) and secondary post (4)). The two posts are me-
chanically linked by an overhead beam (5).
Each post is fitted with a lifting carriage (11 or 3) which
can be hydraulically raised or lowered. The hydraulic
unit (9) and the corresponding operating unit (8) are
attached on the control post.
Each lifting carriage is provided with two support arms
(1) with mounts which act as load bearing elements.
A switch rod actuates a limit switch to stop tall vehicles
coming into inadvertent contact with the over-head
beam.
