5.4 Check
The tire pressure sensor data of the tires can be
read out from the main menu via "
Check ". The
reading out of the tire pressure sensor is always
carried out in the same sequence. One begins
from the left-front, then right-front, left-rear and
at the end the tire pressure sensor of the spare
wheel can still be read out.

Switch on the TPA 200.


If tests on vehicles have already been
performed and saved, and if the opera-
tion sequence is selected for "Job code",
"Registration" or "Model Year", these vehicles
can be selected again and tested.

During the work flow "Registration", the regis-
tration number of the vehicle to be tested can
still be entered, before the tire pressure sensor
test with or and then confirm with .


The following menu items can be selected:
Menu item Description
>Read Sensor Tire pressure sensor is read out.
>Req. Repair Select only if the tire pressure sensor
is visibly faulty. A message about re-
pair is made in the test protocol. The
tire pressure sensor is not read out.
>Skip Wheel The selected tire pressure sensor is
not read out.
>Cancel Audit Return to the main menu. No data is
saved.

Hold the TPA 200 close to the tire valve.


In some models, is indicated before
reading out the tire pressure sensor
Drop Pressure
. In this case, the tire in-
flation pressure must be reduced to 0.5 bar.
The number of signals of the tire pressure
sensor increases due to the pressure change.
Due to the increasing number of signals, the
tire pressure sensor detects TPA 200 faster.
 Tire pressure sensor is read out and sub-
sequently displays the data of the tire
pressure sensor, e.g.
2.5bar Bat:OK

In case the tire pressure sensor could not be
read out, repeat the search.
9. Confirm with .

Read out the tire pressure sensors of all the
wheels according to the indicated sequence.

The measurement data is saved.

The individual tire pressor sensors
can be marked with , showing
whether they should be repaired. The
message about repair is then made in
the test protocol. Order numbers or
license numbers can also be edited.
