Should be switched on continuously when
ironing with steam, in order to remove excess
steam from the Active Ironing Table and from
inside the housing and prevent possible water
drops when storing the board.
2.2 Blower function
It provides crease-free ironing results with
delicate fabrics and items of clothing resting on a
cushion of air.
• Protects delicate items.
• Enables laundry items to cool off faster by the
throughput of air, thereby preserving the fabric
quality.
For dry ironing without steam, the blower
functions can remain switched off.
3. Storage

3.1 When you have finished, proceed
as follows
1. Before removing the steam station/iron,
ensure that you have read the instructions for
use which came with your steam station and
iron.
2. Switch off the active ironing board (“O” setting).
Disconnect the cord for the active ironing
board from the mains. Take the steam station /
iron plug out of the socket.
3. Remove the steam station / iron from the rest.
3.2 To store the active ironing board
away
1. Take hold of the active ironing board with both
hands, lift it up slightly and fold together using
the lever.
2. Wind the cord up loosely in loops, making
sure that it is not squashed or kinked.
The active ironing board can be stored away
folded up (with the universal iron rest at the top).
Place the active ironing board in a safe position
so that it will not fall over.
The transport lock should be engaged to secure
the frame whilst the board is folded up.
Cleaning
The active ironing board can only be cleaned
when the plug is disconnected from the mains
and when the steam station/iron has cooled
down. Clean using a soft, damp cloth to wipe
down the appliance. Do not use detergents of
any kind.
