3.7.3 

Cleaning the brewing unit 

The brewing unit can be taken out of the appliance for cleaning. 

►

 

Switch off the appliance with the mains switch. 

►

 

Release the service door on the right-hand side of the 
appliance with a coin or a flat screwdriver and open. 

►

 

Press the red knob on the handle of the brewing unit and 
rotate upwards in a clockwise direction until it “clicks” into 
position. 

►

 

Pull brewing module by the handle out of the appliance. 

►

 

Clean the brewing unit under warm running water without 
washing-up liquid. 

 

Risk of damage! 

Do not clean brewing module in the dishwasher! 

►

 

Vacuum out the appliance interior or wipe out with a damp 
cloth. 

►

 

Dry and re-insert brewing unit. 

►

 

Press the red knob on the handle of the brewing unit and 
rotate downwards in an anti-clockwise direction until it “clicks” 
into position. The brewing unit is locked in position. 

►

 

Close and lock service door. 

If the appliance is cold when switched on, the appliance is rinsed 
automatically.
