When the timer detects a current flow in the primary circuit which is not
in connection with a welding schedule („Weld without command“ func­
tion), the main switch is tripped:
• The timer signals „Main switch tripped“ or „Weld without command“
and
• short-circuits the terminals 2 and 3 at X8 (changeover switch; floa­
ting).
If main switches with an appropriate functionality are used, this will
automatically trip the circuit breaker (main switch), and thus the power
supply, provided that X8 has been wired accordingly (ncc/noc).
