4. Record all measures taken in the commissioning log.
5. Activate the safety and monitoring equipment of the system.
Procedure
Once all requirements are met, proceed as follows:
1. Commission the drive system according to the instructions of the corre-
sponding product documentation. The respective information can be found
in the functional description of the drive controllers.
2. Record all measures taken in the commissioning log.
For commissioning of the controllers and control systems, additional steps may
be required. The inspection of the functioning and performance of the systems
is not object of these Operating Instructions; instead, it is carried out within the
framework of the commissioning of the machine as a whole. Comply with the in-
formation and instructions of the machine manufacturer.
Before commissioning the system, an acceptance test with an ac-
ceptance report must be carried out, in which the instructions and
conditions of use specified here are confirmed. After repair and dis-
assembly at repair of safety relevant components, do a parts check
of the motor according to EN 60079-15 again, if the explosion pro-
tection features are changed during repair or disassembly.
1.13 Maintenance / repair / disassembly
Danger of life due to electrical power! Handling
within the area of live parts is extremely danger-
ous.
DANGER
Any work required on the electric system must only be carried out by skilled
electricians. It is absolutely necessary to use power tools.
Before working:
1. Disconnect.
2. Protect the system or plant against restart.
3. Determine de-energization.
4. Ground and short-out.
5. Cover or shield any adjacent live parts.
Before starting to work, check with an appropriate measuring device whether
parts of the system are still under residual voltage (e.g. caused by capacitors,
etc.). If so, wait until these parts have discharged.
