Preparation
Before installing the product, check whether the required data on the type
plate of the product comply with the locally allowed conditions of use in
potentially explosive atmospheres:
●
Device group and device category
●
Explosion subgroup
●
Maximum allowed surface temperature
●
…
Check the components for visible damage. Damaged components may not
be mounted.
Before installing the components, make sure that the ambient conditions on
site, such as ambient temperature, humidity, vibration and shock stresses, do
not exceed the data specified in the Project Planning Manual "DOK-INDRV*-
KCU02+KSM02-PR⃞⃞-⃞⃞-P".
Attachment
The products are designed for flange assembly (B05 design). For details on
the mounting holes please see Project Planning Manual "DOK-INDRV*-
KCU02+KSM02-PR⃞⃞-⃞⃞-P". The following general assignment applies
for fastening:

The screw connections for flange assembly have to be able to
withstand both the force due to weight of the product and the
forces acting during operation.
Preparation
Make the following preparations for assembly:
1.
Procure tools, auxiliary materials, measuring and test equipment.
2.
Check all components for visible damage. Damaged components may
not be mounted.
3.
Ensure that dimensions and tolerances on the installation side are
suitable for attachment (for details, see Project Planning Manual "DOK-
INDRV*-KCU02+KSM02-PR⃞⃞-⃞⃞-P").
4.
Check all components, mounting surfaces and threads to verify that they
are clean.
5.
Make sure that the assembly can be carried out in a dry and dust-free
environment.
6.
Ensure that the holder for the flange is without burrs.
