be located within the selected NC program as well as within a subroutine. In
the function "Block search", program processing begins at the target block that
is a freely selectable program block. Until then, from the first program block up
to the block in front of the target block, the program blocks are processed log‐
ically with axis output and help functions blocked. Processing and executing
NC instructions starts with the target block.
There are still restrictions for the "Block pre-run" function. Also refer
to the manual "Functional Description", chapter "Block Pre-run".
Starting the Application
The default M-key assignment is the "Block pre-run" key in the "Program func‐
tions" level.
When calling the block pre-run, the selected NC program is displayed.
The cursor is normally located on the first block in the displayed NC program.
If the program has already been processed previously in the block search, the
previously selected block is marked.
Opening subroutine
Using F-key "Open subroutine", the corresponding subroutine is displayed if a
subroutine call has been written in the selected block.
If the selected block does not contain a subroutine call, this is indicated by an
information text.
If the selected NC block contains a GNP cycle call, the compiled GNP subrou‐
tine is opened.
Closing subroutine
With the F-key "Close subroutine" the open subroutine is closed and it is jumped
back to the calling program. An information text appears if no subroutines are
open anymore that means that no returning is not possible.
Apply block
The F-key "Apply block" starts the NC program restart, closes the application
and shows the adjustment screen.
End position of the target block
At block pre-run, the starting position for the following axis adjustment between
the initial position and the end position of the target block can be selected. The
end position of the target block (ticked) can also be the return position from a
subroutine of the target block.
