Operation Modes

Automatic

6.1.1

Single Block

In the suboperation mode "Single block",

individual blocks of a main program or subroutine or of a user cycle are exe‐

cuted after the "Start" button on the machine operating panel has been pressed.

6.1.2

Single Step

In the suboperation mode "Single step"

individual blocks of a main program, subroutine or of a user cycle are executed

each time after the "Start" button on the machine operating panel has been

pressed. It is similar to "Single block", but also has the compensation blocks

inserted by the NC (e.g. to activate cutter radius correction) or NC-internal cy‐

cles.

6.1.3

Program Block

In the suboperation mode "Program Block"

individual blocks of a main program or subroutine are executed after the

"Start" button on the machine operating panel has been pressed. The blocks

are executed individually, as in "MDI". Block preview is not possible!

6.1.4

Continuous Block

In normal mode, programs are executed in "Continuous block",

i.e. the program is processed continuously with NC start.

6.1.5

Block Search/Block Pre-run

Overview

The functions "block search" and "block pre-run" simplify the testing and posi‐

tioning of NC programs.
