Functions in the Tool List Display
The functions of the F-keys are described in the corresponding table editor.
<F2 Insert tool>
Retrieval of the tool editor for creating a new tool data set. You can switch back
to the tool list by clicking the mouse in the taskbar. However, the task bar cannot
be edited because the database remains blocked. The list can be edited only
after the new tool editor has been closed.
The function can also be opened via the following menu function in the default
configuration Edit ▶ Insert tool .
<F5 Edit Tool>
Retrieval of the tool editor for editing an existing tool data set. You can use the
task bar to return to the tool list; the database does not remain locked. However,
the <F5 Edit tool function> can be retrieved again only after the tool editor is
exited.
The function can also be opened via the following menu function in the default
configuration Edit ▶ Edit tool .
<F3 Delete Tool>
The tool data record can be deleted in the database by confirming the prompt
"Delete tool".
The function can also be opened via the following menu function in the default
configuration Edit ▶ Delete tool .
