12.3  Touch screen

Short  touches  of  the  touch  screen  are  interpreted  as  "left  click".  For  a  "right

mouse click", touch the touch screen at the corresponding position for approx. 2

seconds.

Damage  to  the  front  panel  or  to  the  touch
screen  due  to  operation  with  inadequate  ob-
jects (e.g. a screwdriver).

NOTICE

Operate  the  touch  screen  only  with  your  fingers  or  with  a  special  touch  pen

(part number 1070923266) for touch screens.
If the touch screen is operated with gloves, ensure that the gloves are free from

hard particles like glass fragments or chips.

Damage  to  front  panel  or  to  the  touch  screen
due to pressure that is too high .

NOTICE

Avoid high pressure when operating the touch screen.

12.4  VEP 30.5DPU

The VEP 30.5DPU device has the degree of protection IP 54. Additionally, the de-

vice is provided with three keys and one E-STOP button, which are not connec-

ted electrically to the device.

12.4.1  Housing and housing cover
