pact-Flash cards type A and type B. A Compact Flash card is not included in
the scope of delivery. The Compact Flash card has to be ordered separately,
chapter 11.2.2 "Storage Media" on page 131
.
If only one Compact Flash card is used in a device, this Compact Flash card
has to be plugged in the "CF1" slot (Master).
If two Compact Flash cards are required in one device, only the same (released)
Compact Flash cards may be used. Different Compact Flash cards can limit the
performance significantly. In some cases files or the file system can be de‐
stroyed.

Ensure that the utilization of the Compact Flash cards does not exceed 70%.
If the memory utilization exceeds 70%, the performance may be reduced.
Data loss and uncontrolled machine move‐
ments by removing the Compact Flash card if
voltage is applied
NOTICE
Before inserting or removing the Compact Flash card, do switch off the device!
Inserting or removing under voltage can freeze the system or cause a "blue
screen" In some cases the file system or the Compact Flash card can be de‐
stroyed.
Use only Compact Flash cards that are released for the relevant
device. Non-released Compact Flash cards can limit the perform‐
ance significantly. In some cases the file system can be destroyed.

XUSB USB Interfaces
Two USB interfaces ("USB1" and "USB2") according to USB 2.0 specification
are available at the devices.
USB devices (e. g. keyboard) switch off if the power consumption
is exceeded.
The max. power consumption of one USB connector must not ex‐
ceed 500 mA.
If the maximum power consumption is exceeded, a message dis‐
plays that the USB devices are disabled. The USB devices are
enabled as soon as the power consumption of one USB connector
is below 500 mA.
