Bearings

Hybrid bearings (with re-lubrication option)
Properties
Ball bearings with ceramic rolling elements are used. In comparison with
comparably large bearings with rolling elements made from steel, hybrid
bearings have the following advantages, among others:

Long service life
●
High wear resistance
●
Suitable for high speeds
●
Low-noise running
●
Lower thermal expansion
For re-lubrication of the bearings, please observe the notes in chapter
ter 12.4.3 "Re-lubrication of the hybrid bearings" on page 60
.
9.12
Run-down and follow-up time of the rotor
Special cases (errors) may occur which lead to the energy storage device not
being actively decelerated. In this case, a run-down time of at least 4 minutes
must be expected before the rotor inside the energy storage device comes to
a standstill.

Acceptances and approvals
9.13.1
CE mark
Declarations of conformity confirming the design and compliance with the val‐
id EN standards and directives are available for BA1N energy storage devi‐
ces. If required, the declarations of conformity can be requested from the re‐
sponsible sales office.
The CE label is applied to the nameplate.
