LBB4402/00 Audio
Expander
6.1 Introduction
The LBB4402/00 Audio Expander is used if the system
requires additional audio inputs and outputs. See
figure 6.1 for a block diagram of the audio expander.
Unlike the network controller, the audio expander has
transformer-isolated and balanced XLR inputs and
outputs for easy interfacing to other systems.
Furthermore, control inputs and outputs are available.
6.2
Controls & connectors
6.2.1
Front view
The front of the audio expander (see figure 5.2) contains
the following:

Menu display
- A 2x16 character LCD display
gives information about the audio expander (see
section 6.5).

Menu button
- A turn-and-push button to operate
the menu (see section 6.5).

Monitoring headphones output
- A 3.5 mm
(0.14 inch) jack socket to connect headphones for
audio monitoring purposes.
