16 Troubleshooting
You can rectify minor faults on your appliance yourself. Read the troubleshooting information before contacting after-
sales service. This will avoid unnecessary costs.

Check the household fuse for the appliance.

Check whether there has been a power failure by trying other electrical appliances.

The control panel is wet or objects are lying on it.

Dry the control panel or remove the object.
Several hotplates have been used over a prolonged period at high power settings. The hot-
plate has been switched off to protect the electronics.

You can continue to cook.
