Automatic detection in the case of dual or triple
cooking zones
These cooking zones can detect cookware of different
sizes. Depending on the material and the properties of the
cookware, the cooking zone automatically adapts to the
single, double or triple cooking zone in such a way that the
corresponding power level is transferred in order to
achieve a good cooking result.

5.1 Control panel
You can use the control panel to configure all functions of
your appliance and to obtain information about the operat-
ing status.
The control panel image is representative. Your appliance
may vary slightly.
Touch keys
Touch keys are touch sensitive areas. Touch a symbol to
activate the corresponding function.

The indicators above the touch keys that currently can
be selected light up.

The touch keys for functions that currently cannot be
selected do not light up.

The indicators for selected functions or cooking zones
light up brighter.

5.2 Residual heat indicator
The cooktop is equipped with a residual heat indicator for
each cooking zone. The residual heat indicator lights up
when a cooking zone is turned off. Do not touch the cook-
ing zone when the residual heat indicator lights up.
Display
Meaning
The cooking zone is hot.
The cooking zone is warm.
If you remove the cookware from the cooking zone during
cooking, the residual heat indicator and the selected
power level flash alternately.
