6. Installing WLAN adapter
6.1 Description
6.1.1 Adapter

6.1.2 Intended use

The adapter is used with FWA 4650 wheel
alignment devices for the WLAN-Box <-> PC/ Laptop
WLAN link.

The driver has to be installed:

When commissioning kits
$
On replacing hardware components
(PC/ Laptop, hard disk)

On retrofitting the WLAN-Box

With the WLAN adapter driver installed

With the WLAN network link configured

6.1.5 Storage location

The drivers are located on the driver CD provided
with the wheel alignment device or the WLAN-Box.
6.2 Installation
6.2.1 Log-on
1. Switch on the PC.

Depending on the version of the wheel alignment
unit, the operating system starts up with or without
user log-on.
Log-on Selection of user account
Without Automatic selection of user account
with administrator rights
With Manual selection of user account
with administrator rights

If the operating system presents a log-on window on
starting, log-on with a user account is required.

Administrator rights are an essential prerequisite for
software installation.
